ULTIMATE ROCK CRAWLING

SAFETY IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY

Ultimate Rock Crawling is committed to providing a safe environment for competitors, officials, volunteers, pit crew, contractors, and spectators. Driving or operating any vehicle while affected by alcohol or drugs will not be tolerated.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

Any person operating a competition vehicle, recovery vehicle, support vehicle, ATV, motorcycle, side-by-side, or any other motorised vehicle within the event venue must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

All drivers and vehicle operators are expected to be fit to drive and capable of safely operating their vehicle at all times.

COMPETITORS & NAVIGATORS

  • Competitors and navigators must not consume alcohol before or during competition activities.

  • Drivers must maintain a 0.00 Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) while participating in any official event activity, including vehicle movements, recovery operations, demonstrations, and competition runs.

  • Any competitor suspected of being affected by alcohol or drugs may be directed to cease participation immediately.

PIT CREW, OFFICIALS & VOLUNTEERS

Pit crew members, officials, marshals, recovery personnel, and volunteers performing safety-critical duties must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while carrying out their responsibilities.

Anyone considered impaired may be removed from their duties immediately.

Spectators must adhere to direction from officals and comply with the road rules.

VEHICLE MOVEMENTS WITHIN THE VENUE

All vehicle movements within the venue, including movement between campsites, pit areas, scrutineering, staging areas, recovery areas, and competition zones, must be undertaken by a sober and licensed driver where required by law.

The event venue is not exempt from road safety obligations, and safe vehicle operation is required at all times.

PRESCRIPTION & OVER-THE-COUNTER MEDICATIONS

Any person taking medication that may impair their ability to safely operate a vehicle or perform event duties must not participate in those activities until they can do so safely.

It is the responsibility of each individual to understand the effects of any medication they are taking.

BREACH OF POLICY

Any person found to be:

  • Driving or operating a vehicle while affected by alcohol or drugs;

  • Refusing a reasonable direction from an event official regarding safety concerns;

  • Behaving in a manner that creates a risk to themselves or others;

may be subject to one or more of the following actions:

  • Immediate removal from the vehicle;

  • Disqualification from the event;

  • Removal from the venue;

  • Cancellation of event credentials, pit passes, or wristbands;

  • Referral to NSW Police or other relevant authorities where appropriate.

No refunds will be provided where a person is removed, excluded, or disqualified for breaching this policy.

OUR COMMITMENT

Ultimate Rock Crawling expects all attendees to act responsibly and help maintain a safe environment for everyone involved.

If you drink, don't drive. If you are affected by drugs, don't drive.

Safety comes first—every competitor, official, volunteer, and spectator deserves to go home safely.
